This superb set of seven antique French lidded pots are for serving "pot de crème". They are decorated with masks and pretty round handles that are cream glazed while the rest is glazed with chocolate brown glaze. They are branded Lunéville underneath. Pot de crème is a classic French dessert that is a rich, creamy custard. The name translates to "pot of cream" in English, reflecting its luxurious texture and flavor. The dessert is traditionally served in small lidded pots, which help maintain its silky consistency.
